Two downtown Akron institutions have fun food events coming up in November: the Akron-Summit County Main Library and the Akron Art Museum.
First, on Nov. 3, the museum will offer a class on the current food obsession with charcuterie boards. “Sip in the Studio: The Art of Food Styling” will be offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with food stylist Liz Stannard of Waxed Crescent Grazing Co. of Akron sharing tips on building a beautiful charcuterie board to wow guests for the holiday season.

Participants will create a single-serving board with cheeses, cured meats and seasonal accompaniments, which they can take home or enjoy during class with a complimentary glass of wine.
Cost is $30 for museum members or $50 for non-members. To register for the event at 1 S. High St., see akronartmuseum.org.
